Colts moving on without key people
The Indianapolis Colts will be one team to watch closely throughout training camp considering the major offseason changes that took place.
The biggest change has to be at the top after head coach Tony Dungy decided to retire.
Dungy, along with some key members of the offense, were the biggest constants during the Colts’ playoff runs. The team also lost wide receiver Marvin Harrison, though it can be argued he won’t be missed all that much because of the sharp decline in his play.
Nonetheless, those are two very key people who have been part of the Colts’ stable organization for a long, long time who are now no longer a part of the team they helped build.
New head coach Jim Caldwell will have his work cut out for him establishing the same rapport with the players that Dungy had, although it will help that he has been an assistant coach with the Colts for a few years.
