Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez is showing himself to be close to 100 percent after last year’s knee injury.
There is still a chance that Gonzalez is not ready in time for training camp and/or is placed on the physically unable to perform list.
Gonzalez will have to fight for playing time this year with wideouts Austin Collie and Pierre Garcon.
He is best when playing out of the slot, so it seems likely that he would battle Collie for playing time.

Indianapolis Colts veteran kicker Adam Vinatieri is fighting for his job in minicamp and training camp.
Vinatieri missed virtually all of last season with an injury, forcing the Colts to sign veteran Matt Stover.
The team has decided not to bring Stover back, which would seem to make Vinatieri the default kicker.
However, the team has signed undrafted rookie Brett Swenson to come in and create a little competition.
It seems unlikely that Vinatieri would lose the job, but he is 37-years old and coming off of surgery.
